When it comes to impactful gift giving, there's nothing quite like adding your own personal touch. While we are a full-service gifting business that offers ready-to-ship gifts in our online shop and semi-custom gifts where you can add your logo to any of the gifts in our online shop, we specialize in fully Custom Gift Design Service where we curate the gifts especially for your brand and/or event. The sky is the limit in terms of the contents and level of branding and customization. We do this for virtual event gifts, in-person corporate event gifts, employee appreciation campaigns, client appreciation gifts, and luxury wedding welcome gifts. Have you ever wondered what it's like to work with Marigold & Grey to create custom gift boxes for your business (or even a wedding)? Keep reading to learn all about our unique customization process!

STEP ONE: INQUIRY FORM AND DISCOVERY CALL

Imagine this: you're representing a corporate company who is interested in creating some one-of-a-kind client appreciation gifts with Marigold & Grey. First, you would complete our simple custom inquiry form on our website. This gives us a better idea of what you're looking for, your preferences, and your overall vision! If it seems like it's going to be a good fit for what we do, we'll offer you a complimentary consultation where we hop on a zoom call together and talk about your goals for the gifts, find out about your brand guidelines and design preferences, tell you all about how our process works, and brainstorm some ideas together.

STEP TWO: MAKE THINGS OFFICIAL

If you decide that we're a good fit for you and us for you, you'll retain us for the project and officially reserve your project on our design and production calendars! We'll be in touch immediately to confirm the project timeline and let you know when you can expect your initial gift design proposal from us. We like to communicate this date to you so if you're working on gifting with your team, you can plan ahead for any meetings you'll need to schedule with them to discuss the proposal and gather feedback for any revisions that might be requested.

STEP THREE: DESIGN AND REVISIONS

The design phase is where the real fun begins! We sit down with your completed Gift Design Questionnaire and come up with an initial design visual (see example below we did for Google) showing you exactly what we're recommending for gift packaging, gift contents, and finishing touches such as ribbon color, notecards, gift tags, etc. Along with this visual, we sent a corresponding written proposal. We aim to make the proposal such that it completely stands on its own, making it easy for you to share with team members. After we send along the initial proposal, we await your feedback.

You're entitled to two full rounds of design revisions for us to work together to tweak it and make sure the design is exactly how you want it. Because this is Custom Gift Design Service, we're not forcing you to mix and match from items we have on our website or choose from a catalog of items. Instead, we are curating solely for you and your project and as such, we do not source any inventory until you've given your final approval. Likewise for any paper or collateral materials that we design for you to accompany your gifts, we do not send anything to print until you've given your final sign off.

STEP FOUR: SOURCING AND GIFT ASSEMBLY

Once you've given your final design approvals and payment, we immediately begin sourcing for your project! When items begin arriving to our warehouse, we meticulously count and quality check the inventory to get ready for gift assembly. In the event something comes in and doesn't meet our standards, we source replacements immediately to keep the project timeline on track. Once we have received all of the inventory and materials for your project and are certain everything is to our standards, we handle the entire gift assembly from start to finish!

STEP FIVE: SHIPPING

While we love the design aspect of what we do, the logistics are equally as important! It doesn't do our clients any good if we design beautiful gifts but can't get them where they need to be on-time and in flawless condition. Here at M&G, we are focus equally on both design and execution. You absolutely cannot have one without the other when it comes to gifting!

STEP SIX: TRACKING AND SNEAK PEEKS

On the date that your project is scheduled to ship out (we either deliver in bulk t one location OR we drop-ship to your individual recipient addresses), once the gifts are successfully out the door, we'll send along tracking numbers for your packages along with sneak peek images for you to get excited about what just went out the door! Cue the excitement!
