So...you're an environmentally conscious person but suddenly you're an environmentally conscious person who happens to also be engaged and planning a wedding? And, let me guess, you're shocked at the level of waste that can be generated by one single event? Elaborate wedding invitation suites to include the save-the-date, actual invitation, directions card, reply card, reply envelope and the list goes on. Gift wrap, ribbons and bows for bridal shower and wedding gifts. The use of disposable packaging for wedding welcome gifts and favors. Not to mention the waste generated from a wedding reception. A wedding is typically no small affair and these areas of impact on the environment can really add up.

Reusable Shopping Bags
One of the best ways to protect the environment is to reuse rather than dispose. Welcoming your guests with a reusable bag they're sure to use over and over again is a great choice. Opting for this adorable shopper will mean that long after your wedding is over, your guests can take this with them to the grocery store and pass on the plastic throw-away bags. Reusable is obviously ideal for the environment but let's face it...sometimes budget-friendly can trump eco-friendly. Jute/Burlap Totes
The next recommendation is a tasteful jute/burlap tote. It's 100% organic and recyclable and manufactured from natural fibers. It can be custom printed with your monogram or wedding logo but we're rather partial to leaving it blank for your guests to reuse again and again. If your heart is set on customization, the gift tag can always be customized with your names and event info for a personal touch. Even though burlap is often associated with rustic events, this type of bag can be styled for classic, elegant events as well!

This precious little reusable tote is about as versatile as it gets. It's made from 100% cotton and coordinates perfectly events of any style. It's rather small in size so it doesn't take a huge amount of items inside to make it appear like a significant gift.
