"Modern but warm and with plenty of personality" was our goal for these art deco-inspired custom wedding welcome gifts that we recently designed for a wedding in Washington, DC at the Conrad Hotel. The couple's overall wedding aesthetic designed by Washington DC area wedding planners Grit & Grace, was inspired by art created by the couple's close friend who is a painter. And that art piece, in turn, served as inspiration for their welcome gifts. Also! Don't miss their pet who made a surprise cameo in each gift for an ultra personalized touch.
Our goal was to create a convenient and fun curated gift box to welcome the couple's wedding guests to Washington DC for their special day! The couple wanted their personalized welcome gifts to be memorable and with an art deco vibe as well as to provide items that would give their guests a feel for their wedding in the nation's capital by sourcing treats native to DC. We also designed around their wedding color palette of black, white, navy blue and deep plum with pops of gold.
The welcome gifts also helped guests them feel comfortable during their hotel stay while traveling with a custom amenity kit branded with the couple's names and wedding date for an extra special touch.
