Charleston Inspired Wedding Welcome Bags for Loudoun County Virginia Wedding

We regularly work with engaged couples on wedding welcome gifts for DC weddings, Maryland weddings and Virginia weddings and even ship gifts to events all across the country. In this particular custom gift design project, the bride was from Virginia and the groom from Charleston, South Carolina so we wanted curated gift bags that equally reflected both of their backgrounds.

In terms of the custom gift design, we selected jute tote bags with round wood handles for a southern-inspired look and feel. The gift tags were kept simple with "thank you" in script along with silk blush ribbon. It's probably no secret but around here in our gift studio, the silk ribbon is always our favorite part!

As a nod to the bride's Virginia roots, also where the wedding was taking place, we included artisan caramels from Charlottesville, Virginia as well as Virginia peanuts. We also included Virginia-themed chocolates depicting the state flower, state bird and even a fun spin on the state slogan: "Virginia is for chocolate lovers."

We also had fun gathering Charleston welcome gift goodies! We included Grey Ghost lemon cookies, again, for a nod to the southern roots. We also selected the iconic Benne Wafers, and even the old-fashioned Charleston Chews candy.

We've had some really amazing custom gift designs so far this year but I must admit, these hotel gift bags are definitely a personal favorite of mine. They're feminine, southern, interesting, and have a little something for everyone.
