Custom Welcome Gifts for Navy and Coral Wedding at Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, Maryland

Knowing their guests were traveling long distances to attend their wedding, J+L wanted to make sure their custom wedding welcome gifts were robust in order to kick-off their Woodend Sanctuary fete off right! The couple's whimsical and bright color palette of navy and coral was dreamed up by Pollyanna Events and we continued this aesthetic all the way through to the gift boxes. Take a peek!

Woodend is a gorgeous nature preserve set just outside of Washington, D.C., so kraft boxes were our top choice for gift packaging. Its natural color and texture complemented the venue perfectly! Classic navy ribbon was tied into a bow, and we also added a “welcome” tag complete with the couple’s unique hashtag, #happilyeverwebbernik.
Quick tip! We’re often asked about the best time to introduce wedding hashtags, and our answer is always the sooner the better! However, if you don't introduce your hashtag until the wedding weekend, we obviously believe including them in your wedding welcome gifts is a fun idea.

As guests first peeked inside their boxes, J+L wanted to make sure everyone knew how grateful they were to have each guest by their side for the weekend. Welcome letters say this best so we included two designed by Just Write Studios. The first detailed the latest information about Friday evening’s welcome reception, and a second letter explained all of the transportation options. Organization at its best!

In addition to mini bubbly bottles from Le Grand Courtage, we also added Hippie Crack granola by Baked and Wired and two cans of Perrier. Because few gifts are complete without a sweet treat, a treat box of blood orange macarons by Olivia Macaron tied with navy ribbon and artisan chocolates by Fleurir were added for good measure.
