Marigold & Grey is an artisan welcome gift company based in the Washington, DC area. Our mission is simple. We want you to love what you gift and your guests giddy over what they receive. In order to make this happen, there’s a whole lot of thought, imagination, planning, ribbon tying, tissue paper fluffing, and overall magic that goes on behind the scenes.

We spent a year dreaming up a business that will make the tedious welcome gift process feel like a piece of cake to you while offering plenty of chic, unique, locally-inspired choices. But don’t let the fancy-schmancy website fool you. We are still a small business that thoughtfully and carefully prepares each order ourselves, specifically with you and your style in mind. We look forward to creating something you’ll be over-the-moon excited to give.

Jamie

founder & owner

Jamie bid farewell to the corporate world to start M&G. This makes sense since gift giving has always been her love language. She lives with her golf-smitten husband, Jeff, in the DC area. After meeting in 2010 and marrying in 2012, thanks to eHarmony, Jamie affectionately refers to Jeff as the best thing she’s ever found online. Jamie is a stepmom of three and more recently, a mom to two rescue pups, Lewis & Clarkie. While she enjoys DC life, she's a true Virginia girl at heart. Aside from gift design, it's good bourbon and bbq, Redskins football, prop styling, encouraging other entrepreneurs, and long weekend getaways that make her world go round.

Carla

studio assistant

Carla joins Marigold & Grey as Studio Assistant and is excited help the business grow by taking on an administrative and organizational role as well as being the in-house videographer! Carla loves making videos that tell a story so much that in 2016, she launched Carla Elizabeth Studio, a wedding and event videography business. Being a part of the M&G team satisfies her love of weddings and dreams of a more creative career. When she’s not shooting or editing films, you can find her planning her next big adventure, perfecting her margarita recipe or lounging on the dock of her family’s lake house.

Heather

operations manager

Heather joins the Marigold & Grey team as Operations Manager after working in media production for several years. Her background is in account and project management, but she yearned for a more creative role within the special events industry. M&G is the perfect balance of both worlds and she is especially excited to work for a women-owned small business. Heather is a cat mom who loves true-crime podcasts, wine, and travel. When she’s not busy making sure gifting projects are executed to perfection and streamlining processes here at the studio, you'll most likely find her spending way too much time (and money) at Target or binging on her latest favorite series on Netflix.
